What made you choose to work at Nestlé Purina?
I have a tremendous passion for pets and knew that Nestlé Purina does too. I wanted to be with the best.
What motivates you to continue working at Nestlé Purina?
I love learning about our consumers and figuring out what they need and how to connect with them. I’m also one of those consumers.
What has been the most advantageous opportunity provided to you at Nestlé Purina?
Being connected to the broader Nestlé organization both domestically and internationally.
What has been the most rewarding thing about working at Nestlé Purina?
Seeing how our products make a consumer’s interaction with their pet easier or more interesting and meaningful.
Describe your greatest experience with Nestlé Purina.
There’s not just one that comes to mind…but seeing associates with their pets at work and how happy they are enhances my experience at work everyday.
What is the most gratifying component about your current role?
Being exposed to a completely different area of the business, the Veterinary world. This area cannot be ignored and has such a tremendous impact on the company’s image, respect and ultimately the performance of all of our brands.
What exciting projects have you worked on?
Developing a multi-media advertising campaign. Launching a new cat treat.
How have you been able to use your past experience or knowledge in your current role?
Coming from Branded Marketing, I have been able to apply many of our consumer insights/practices to this very different “consumer.” There is a huge distinction in how we approach the Veterinary world, but there are also foundational elements to classic Marketing that can be applied.
How has Nestlé Purina supported your work-life balance?
Respect. The prevailing attitude in our department is “as long as you get your work done…”
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
Reading magazines on a couch with my Pug on my chest and my French bulldog sprawled across my feet, keeping them warm.
When you're out on the town, where are we most likely to run into you?
Jazz at the Bistro.
